When I close my eyes and think back to Venice all I can see is colour, and lots of it. It’s a surreal place, the moment you enter the Grand Canal you feel as if you’ve arrived in another world. Venice is a massive tourist attraction and it almost feels like a big theme park. But it’s one of those places that you just have to visit so that you can say you’ve been there. At times it got really busy, almost too crowded, but despite the masses of tourists, including me, I relished the opportunity to walk the tiny alleyways and capture the scenery around me. This is my Venice.
