I’m so excited to finally show off this beautiful day. Jane Anne and Thiago’s intimate beach wedding was held at Chinamans Beach on Sydney’s north shore. They were surrounded by their closest family and friends in one of the prettiest and laid back settings here in Sydney.
I only met Jane Anne and Thiago on the day of the wedding but it felt as if I’d known them for a while. Their families and friends welcomed me as soon as I arrived to the beach, it honestly felt I was there to see my friends getting married.
The ceremony was one of the most emotional I’ve ever witnessed, with lots of happy tears and even more laughs. The late afternoon light shone on these two while they stood by the ocean and exchanged their vows, it was really beautiful.
Following the formalities, we explored the beach and these two were not afraid to climb rocks and get into the water. I love it when a bride is happy to get her dress a little bit dirty, it makes for beautiful and authentic moments.
I also got to work with some of my favourite suppliers. Jane Anne’s dress was made by Karen Willis Holmes, one of my favourite dress designers. Jane Anne’s hair and makeup were absolutely perfect, all done by Tara from Airlie & Co. And the bouquets, created by Hamblins Flowers, were incredible.
Jane Anne and Thiago, thank you for sharing your wedding day with me and inviting me to such an intimate celebration with your nearest and dearest. It was pure joy working with you two and seeing just how much you love each other. I wish you a lifetime of happiness together. x
