Postcards From Our New Home

It has been three months since we moved to Sydney. In the beginning I was excited, then scared, then excited again and then I wanted to go back home to Adelaide. Slowly however, even though I don’t like admitting it, the city is starting to grow on me. I do miss my family in Adelaide and all the familiar streets and coffee shops. But Sydney has this thing, this beauty that sneaks up on you and slowly invades your being. Without noticing you start to fall in love. The breathtaking coast, the casual laid-back lifestyle…it’s just perfect for someone like me. I read somewhere that once you fall for Sydney, you fall hard. And I can see why.

With all that said, I’m not sure why  I haven’t had the camera out more often. I think I’ve been too caught up with taking it all in with my eyes rather than the lens, and you know, that’s a good thing too. But I wouldn’t be a photographer if I didn’t have a few snaps to show off. So here are some pictures from the last few weeks.
