Anne & Domenic

CENTENNIAL HOMESTEAD

“We haven’t stopped singing your praise. You were so amazing and made us feel so comfortable It was so lovely to spend the day with you! We are convinced you’re a ninja – blending in the crowd but somehow popping up at all the right moments! Sooo talented!”

Anne and Domenic’s wedding was a celebration of many years together, a day that reflected exactly who they are as a couple: relaxed, joyful and surrounded by the people they love most.

When Anne first got in touch, she told me that they had met when they were 15 and built a strong friendship before eventually starting a relationship in their twenties. They described themselves as rarely serious, always laughing and happiest when spending time with friends and family, exploring Sydney or finding somewhere new to eat.

The day began with a beautiful church ceremony before we made our way to Paddington Reservoir Gardens for portraits. The combination of historic architecture, greenery and soft light makes it one of my favourite Sydney locations, and it was the perfect place to slow down for a little while before the celebrations continued at Centennial Homestead.

From the beginning, Anne and Domenic knew they wanted their wedding to feel like a true reflection of their lives together - good people, good music and plenty of laughter. That energy was present throughout the day, with their family and friends at the heart of every part of the celebration.

What I remember most about this wedding is how naturally everything unfolded. There was so much laughter, warmth and connection between Anne and Domenic and the people around them - the kind of moments that don’t need to be created, only noticed.
