Kate and Ben’s wedding at Three Blue Ducks was a beautiful example of how a space can feel both relaxed and refined at the same time.

When they first got in touch, they mentioned seeing my photographs of a previous Three Blue Ducks wedding featured in Theodore Magazine and loving the way the images captured the contrast between the venue’s industrial character and the elegance of the celebration. They also loved that I understood the space, including how the light changes throughout the day. This is something I love about Three Blue Ducks too - the warmth of the space and the way each couple brings their own style and personality to the venue.

Kate and Ben began the day with an intimate ceremony surrounded by their immediate family before celebrating later with their wider circle of loved ones. The evening reception had such a wonderful atmosphere. Candlelit tables, beautiful styling, incredible food and the sound of everyone enjoying being together created a celebration that felt warm and effortless.

What I remember most about this wedding is how comfortable Kate and Ben were throughout the day. They trusted me completely and allowed things to unfold naturally, which meant I could focus on capturing the moments in between: the conversations, the laughter and the quiet moments that often become the photographs people treasure most.
