“You made the whole day feel so relaxed and fun whilst managing to capture these gorgeous photos. We are absolutely over the moon. We can’t thank you enough.”

Bec & Sam

An elegant black-tie wedding at St Joseph’s College and the Museum of Contemporary Art

Bec and Sam's wedding began with a ceremony at the beautiful St Joseph's College Chapel before everyone made their way to the Museum of Contemporary Art Sydney for a black-tie celebration overlooking Sydney Harbour.

When Bec first got in touch, she told me she loved my black and white photographs and had found me after seeing me photograph a friend's wedding. It's always such a privilege to be recommended by past couples and trusted to photograph another family's celebration.

The day was beautifully formal but it never felt overly serious. Bec and Sam were gracious, warm and so easy to be around, and it was obvious how much their family and friends meant to them.

Before the reception, we spent some time together around Circular Quay, making the most of the sunshine before the clouds rolled in. With the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge just moments away, it was the perfect backdrop before everyone gathered inside the Museum of Contemporary Art for an evening of heartfelt speeches, wonderful food and celebrating with the people they love most.
