“Thanks so much for the images! They are BEAUTIFUL. Also thank you for making us feel super comfortable and also including lots of Luffy pictures!”

A Winter Elopement on Sydney Harbour
Vicky and TB chose to keep their winter elopement as simple and personal as possible - just the two of them, their parents, a handful of witnesses, their celebrant and their much-loved toy poodle, Luffy.
They knew they wanted to be married somewhere around Sydney Harbour, but didn't have a particular location in mind, so I helped them find Mary Booth Reserve. Tucked away on the harbour, it offered a beautiful setting for their intimate winter ceremony, with views towards the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge.
Neither Vicky nor TB particularly wanted to be the centre of attention, but that didn't mean the photographs were an afterthought. Vicky told me she wanted beautiful images of the day, and that she was drawn to photographs that felt authentic and captured the moment without looking overly posed. That became a lovely fit for the way I photograph intimate weddings, allowing the day to unfold naturally while making space for photographs that feel considered and timeless.
Winter elopements in Sydney are some of my favourite days. The winter sunshine on the Harbour is absolutely magical and there are so many hidden pockets to explore.
